Managing Workspaces
A workspace is one Shopify store and its connected channels. Multi-store accounts use one workspace per store.
What is a workspace?
A workspace ties together:
- One Shopify store (its access token, products, orders, currency)
- One or more chatbots
- Connected channels (Facebook Page, Instagram, WhatsApp)
- A subscription / credit balance
If you run multiple stores, create one workspace per store — they stay fully isolated (orders, conversations, products, billing).
Creating a workspace
- From the dashboard, click the workspace selector in the top-left and choose Create Workspace.
- Give it a memorable name (you can rename it later).
- You'll land on the new workspace empty — your next steps are connecting Shopify and creating a chatbot.
Switching workspaces
Use the workspace selector at the top of the sidebar to jump between workspaces. The dashboard re-scopes everything to the selected workspace — orders, products, conversations, and metrics all reflect only that store.
Workspace settings
Open Settings from the sidebar to configure:
- Display name — what shows in the selector and headers.
- Currency — auto-detected from Shopify but overridable. Used to format prices in the chatbot and dashboard.
- Sync state — see when products were last synced and trigger a manual resync.
- Connected integrations — Shopify status, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp.
Manual product re-sync
Webhooks keep your catalog up to date automatically, but you can trigger a full re-sync from Settings → Sync now. This re-fetches every product, image, and variant from Shopify. Useful when:
- You bulk-imported products and want to verify they all loaded
- A webhook delivery failed (rare — Shopify retries for 48h)
- You changed your shop domain or rotated the access token
Disconnecting / reconnecting Shopify
Sometimes you need a fresh OAuth token — for example after Protected Customer Data approval, or after rotating credentials. From Settings → Disconnect Shopify:
- The workspace's access token is invalidated on our side.
- You re-run the OAuth flow.
- A fresh token with current permissions is issued.
Reconnecting does not wipe your synced data — products and orders persist. Only the token rotates.
Deleting a workspace
Destructive. Deleting a workspace cascades and permanently removes: products, chatbots, message logs, dashboard metrics, chat history, integrations. Shopify itself is untouched — your store, products, and orders remain in Shopify.
Go to Settings → Danger zone → Delete workspace and confirm. The action requires you to type the workspace name to prevent accidents.
Billing & credits
Each workspace has its own subscription and credit balance. Upgrading or buying a credit pack on one workspace does not affect another. See the Billing page (sidebar) for plan details, usage, and credit purchase.
